September 2011

Marc, Alex, and I visited Marc’s father and step-mother at their house in Nicaragua. (Madeline visited at a different time.) They were directly involved in the design and construction of this beautiful house overlooking Laguna de Apoyo (near Granada). I start out by showing several photos of their house, a wonderful get-away by itself, followed by sightseeing photos.

Lunch at a restaurant overlooking Laguna de Apoyo. (Alex looks pretty rough in most of our Nicaragua pics because he was sick with a fever while there. It actually took us a while to figure out that he was sick and not just hot and grumpy! He probably picked it up on the flight.)
